At Colin’s Punk Rock World and CPRW Records we’ve always been passionate about showcasing new, underground punk rock bands that don’t have as big a following as we think they should have. In 2020, we released our first Hidden Gems compilation and it was such a great success that we decided it needed a sequel. We scoured the world in search of fresh new bands that we love and think you will love as well.

As with all CPRW Records releases, all proceeds from the release will be donated to charity. For Hidden Gems 2 we have chosen Lifeline 4 Kids. Lifeline 4 Kids is a UK national children’s charity that was founded in 1961. They help disabled and disadvantaged children who come from impoverished backgrounds by supplying specialist equipment to children from birth to the age of eighteen to help improve their quality of life. The charity gets no government funding and is run by a group of volunteers who receive no payment and meet in each other’s homes to work for the cause. We feel this is a charity that more than deserves the support we hope to provide them.

Massive thanks to all twenty eight bands who have generously given us their music for the compilation. I'm forever humbled by the generosity of the punk scene worldwide and I sincerely hope that you enjoy these songs as much as I do. Please go and check out all these bands music on their Bandcamp pages and chuck them some money to help them continue to create awesome music.

We've priced the compilation at a very reasonable £5 but if you can afford to pay more then we would really appreciate it. Obviously the more money we can raise for Lifeline 4 Kids the better. If you can't afford to buy the compilation then it's also really helpful is people can share it on your social medias or just tell your people about it. Word of mouth is so important for us to help get the word out about the compilation.
